There are a plethora of free online marketing tools, below I will give you a glimpse of those I utilize for my marketing efforts.
Grammarly
Even if you’re not a writer, here is an online tool that will help you immensely:
Grammarly.
It’s a proofreading tool that can be downloaded as an extension onto your computer. It helps to spot grammar errors, typos, and more. There is a paid version which I’ve not tried but the free one seems to be enough. While it’s not something you should solely depend on, it’s a great place to start for anyone.
What are the benefits of Grammarly?
- Improves writing style
- Gives you options
- Find mistakes that Microsoft Word might have missed
- Makes corrections while you’re on email (Gmail, Outlook, Messenger, Yahoo!), documents (Slack, Google Docs, Jira, Salesforce), and social media (Medium, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
I’ve been using it for a couple of years and really enjoy the ease of use. The only downside I’ve seen is that sometimes you click on the suggested changes, it changes it but then reverts back to the error. I’ve since downloaded Grammarly onto a different computer and it seems to be working fine
Google Docs
Even if you’re not a writer, here is an online tool that will help you immensely:
Google Docs.
It’s a free web-based word processor that’s part of Google Drive.
What are the benefits of Google Docs?
- Accessible 24/7
- Easy to use
- Multiple team members can collaborate in the same document
- Can share the document with a simple link
- Able to suggest edits and either reject or accept them
- Able to import and export files
What is the downside? It requires internet service to update the document.
